o As part of WFP’s Disability Inclusion Workplan, in 2024 WFP Iran has been providing additional monthly cash support of IRR 1.5 million (US$ 3) to refugees with disabilities across eight refugee settlements, on top of their regular aid. In November, WFP Iran included an additional 12 refugees, reaching a total of 261 persons. This follows the programme's expansion in October, covering Kerman, Lorestan, West Azerbaijan, Fars, Khuzestan, Markazi, and Semnan provinces.
Initially, the top-up support was rolled out in the Shahid Naseri settlement in Markazi province and the Mohajerin settlement in Semnan province.
