Japan: Acceptance of Emergency Relief Supplies from the Islamic Republic of Iran (Arrival of the Second Dispatch)

In response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, Iran announced to provide relief supplies of foodstuffs (50,000 food cans), 35,000 cans of which were sent to the disaster-stricken area on Friday March 25. The rest of 15,000 cans arrived at Narita Airport on Thursday March 31 and were sent to the disaster-stricken area on Friday, April 1.

The Government of Japan deeply appreciates the cooperation of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
