Tehran, Feb 23, IRNA – Deputy minister of roads and urban development said on Tuesday that Iran and Azerbaijan Republic have signed a deal to prevent and reduce the impacts of natural disasters, adding that the deal was signed in presence of Azeri president.
Esmaeil Najjar said that Crisis Management Organization has also offered proposals at the request of European Union to promote ties in the field of natural disasters.
Referring to the agreements made with Iranian and Azeri delegations, Najjar said that the two teams have also visited available capacities and exchanged views.
Iran and Azerbaijan Republic have signed 11 memoranda of understanding in a ceremony attended by Azeri President Ilham Aliev to boost joint cooperation.
