FLASH UPDATE
In the first week of January 2025, two boats carrying 267 individuals (73% women and children) disembarked in East Aceh. With the support of local authorities and local communities, those disembarked were immediately transferred to Rawang temporary site. UNHCR, IOM, and partners are working in this and other sites to respond to the protection and assistance needs of all Rohingya refugee arrivals.
