Urgent Needs

Shelter

All temporary shelters are located in a mountainous area with cold nights. Priority interventions:

a. Tarpaulin as wall coverings b. Tarpaulin for bedding

**WASH **

LEARN assists 2,500 IDPs in LOSD Tiga Binanga which only have 4 toilets with limited water access.

Urgent needs:

Water

a. Water gallons standby at each post

b. Drinking container (1 per person)

c. Water Pump for supply to the toilets

Sanitation

a. Emergency Toilet (Mobile Toilets) in every temporary shelter

b. Rubbish bins in every temporary shelter

c. Waste management system

Hygiene

a. Hygiene Promotion

Distribution of hygiene kits (soap, toothpaste / toothbrushes, sanitary napkins, diapers for elderly, underwear, towels)

Food

  • Nutrition needs not adequately met.

  • Needs: Distribution of fresh and nutritious foods (E.g.: fresh fish, vegetables, fruits)
