HIGH LIGHTS

  • On Tuesday, 29 August 2012 at 19.30 Central Indonesia Time (UCT+8), a landslide happened in Bumi Nyiur Lingkungan V Village, Wanea Sub-district, Manado City, North Sulawesi Province. The landslide threatened 100 persons and caused 2 houses damaged

  • As per 30 August 2012 at 10.00 PM Western Indonesian Time (UCT+7), The Centre for Health Crisis (CHC) Ministry of Health (MoH) reported that 3 persons died and 2 persons with minor injuries

  • The Manado DHO evacuated the victims, took the dead victims to Dr R.D Kandau Mando Hospital for autopsy, set up health post and provided health services in affected areas cooperated with Ranotanaweru Health Center. The DHO also mobilized its team to conduct assessment and coordinated with cross sector, Manado BPBD, and Fire Brigade to clean the debris.

  • The Manado DHO, North Sulawesi PHO, Regional CHC North Sulawesi, and CHC/MOH are monitoring the situation closely.
