HIGH LIGHTS

  • On Sunday, 27 May 2012 at 02.00 AM Central Indonesian Time (UCT+6), a landslide as the impact of heavy rainfall in 2 sub-villages (Batu Gantung and Belakang Soya) in 2 villages (Karang Panjang in Sirimau district and Kudamati in Nusaniwe district), Ambon, Maluku province;

  • Sanvu tropical cyclone affected the heavy rainfall in the eastern part of Indonesia i.e Northern part of Sulawesi, Maluku, North Maluku, Papua and West Papua; this cyclone has travelled to Pacific Ocean, in Northern part Philippine

  • Centre for Health Crisis (CHC), Ministry of Health (MoH) reported the death of 8 persons;

  • BNPB reported additional major injury of 2 persons and 23 houses damaged;

  • Ambon DHO has evacuated the victims and identified the victims in Dr. M. Haulussy Ambon district hospital;

  • BPBD Ambon and Maluku provided food, air mineral, temporary shelters;

  • Ambon DHO, Maluku Provincial Health Office (PHO) and Center for Health Crisis MOH are monitoring the situation closely.
