- The Lewotobi Laki-laki volcano, in East Flores regency, East Nusa Tenggara province, has increased its activity since 13 February with ash plumes reaching 1,500 m above the summit of the crater and intense seismic activity.
- According to the National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure (BNPB), an evacuation order has been issued on 13 February for residents of the six villages in the disaster-prone area of East Flores regency.
- On the same day, the volcano's alert level was raised from level 3 to level 4, all activities within a radius of 6 km from the crater are forbidden, people have to avoid the southwest-northeast sector up to 7 km distance from the crater.
- Local authorities are monitoring the ongoing activity.
