Retrieval and Missing Persons
Total number of bodies found and buried from April 17 to April 30, 2005, is 215
- West Coast : 144
- Banda Aceh : 69
- Simeulue Regency : 2
Total number of retrieved bodies according to a report from the Indonesian Red Cross is: 128,790
Total number of people missing is still estimated at 37,063 (it is believed that some of those previously thought to be missing are confirmed dead, among IDPs, or have left NAD)
Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)
The total number of IDPs as a result of the December 26 tsunami as of May 6, 2005 is 595,305
Health Issues
As of May 6, 2005, there have been 100 out-patients and 461 in-patients treated at six hospitals in Banda Aceh
On May 5, two containers of medical supplies were donated by the World Harvest. Each container was given to the Aceh Provincial Health Agency and Aceh Besar Regency Health Agency.

According to a report by the Aceh Provincial Satkorlak PBP, the total number of IDPs as a result of the March 28 earthquake as of May 6, 2005 in Aceh is still 81,816

On May 4, 2005, at 05.58 GMT (12.58 WIB), a 5.5 magnitude tectonic earthquake occurred. The epicenter is located in 4.82 northern latitude and 94.75 eastern longitude, 30 Km under the Indian Ocean, southwest of Banda Aceh.
