The number of people affected is rising in West Nusa Tenggara province after recent floods and severe‑weather incidents caused by heavy rain and strong winds.
The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) reports that one person is missing and nearly 3 000 people have been affected in East Lombok regency. In Central Lombok regency, about 4 500 people and more than 1 100 houses have been impacted.
For the next two days, light to moderate rain is expected across the two affected regencies.
