Indonesia - Severe weather and floods, update (ADINet, BMKG) (ECHO Daily Flash of 25 February 2026)

  • The number of people affected is rising in West Nusa Tenggara province after recent floods and severe‑weather incidents caused by heavy rain and strong winds.
  • The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) reports that one person is missing and nearly 3 000 people have been affected in East Lombok regency. In Central Lombok regency, about 4 500 people and more than 1 100 houses have been impacted.
  • For the next two days, light to moderate rain is expected across the two affected regencies.
