Heavy rainfall and strong winds affected the Java island (central Indonesia) over 10-12 April, causing floods and strong wind-related incidents that have resulted in affected population and damage.
The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) reports, as of 15 April, nearly 3 100 affected people and more than 760 damaged houses across the Pasuruan regency (the most affected, in the East Java province) and the Grobogan regency (Central Java province).
Over the next 72 hours, more rainfall is still forecast over most of the Java island, with heavy rainfall over the western regencies.
