The humanitarian impact of the landslide that occurred on 24 January in Pasirlangu Village of the Cisarua sub-district in West Bandung Regency, West Java province, is increasing.
According to the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) and media, as of 27 January, at least 35 people have died, 55 are still missing, three people have been injured, and 666 people have been displaced in two evacuation centres. In addition, 52 houses have been damaged.
Search and rescue operations are still ongoing, and local authorities have deployed about 800 people.
Over the next 48 hours, light rain is expected in West Java province.
