  • On 19 November at 7.00 UTC, a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall occurred in Purworejo regency, in southern Central Java province, in central Indonesia, resulting in casualties and damage.
  • As of 20 November, the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB) reports three fatalities, one missing person and several evacuated people in Peniron hamlet, Plipiran village, in Bruno District of the Purworejo regency.
  • Search and rescue operations are still ongoing.
  • On 20 and 21 November, more heavy rainfall is expected over central and western Java Island.
