Highlights
• As of December 28, 2025, BNPB reported that the number of IDPs had decreased to 399,172 people. The death toll has reached 1,140, and 163 people are missing in the three provinces.
• In Aceh, there are 377,853 IDPs, with the highest number of IDPs in North Aceh District (166,920), followed by Aceh Tamiang (114,987) and Gayo Lues (21,249).
• In North Sumatra, a total of 11,384 people were displaced. Most IDPs are in South Tapanuli District (4,693), Central Tapanuli (3,971), and North Tapanuli (1,197).
• In West Sumatra, there are 9,935 IDPs , with the highest number in Agam Regency (4,316), Tanah Datar (1,637), and Padang Pariaman (848).
• 19 districts/cities have established an Emergency Transition to Recovery Status. Four districts/cities are in the process of determining the Emergency Transition Status to Recovery.
• The availability of clean water and toilet facilities is the biggest challenge in the evacuation camps, besides the lack of a special location for waste disposal. Affected areas. Source: inarisk.bnpb.go.id/dashboard_bansor
• Acute Respiratory Tract Infection (ISPA) and skin disease are the highest reported diseases, besides diarrhea, influenza-like illness (ILI), hypertension, gastritis, febrile seizures, suspected typhoid fever, measles, leptospirosis, and dengue.
