Jakarta, Indonesia-Relief -- Give2Asia has succeeds in raising $3 million for its Tsunami Recovery Fund, of which about $2 million has been granted to several organization in tsunami zone. In Indonesia, Give2Asia has provided $868,950 grant, in which half of the fund goes to organization that run watch and evaluation activities.
As revealed by its latest Interim Reports, the biggest sum of its grant to Indonesia, $233,025, goes to Indonesian Coruption Watch and Asia Foundation, for project to maintain accountability and fight against corruption.
The second biggest fund, $127,285, goes for similar program: Evaluating the success of reconstruction in Aceh. The program implemented by Asia Foundation, Aceh Recovery Forum, and Department of Law, University of Syiah Kuala. © che
