Indonesia - Floods (BNPB, NOAA-CPC) (ECHO Daily Flash of 15 April 2025)

  • Heavy rainfall triggering landslides affected Subang Regency, West Java Province, Indonesia on 11 April, resulting in people going missing.
  • According to the National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure (BNPB), as at 14 April, one person is still missing and search and rescue operations are ongoing.
  • Over the next 48 hours, heavy to very heavy rainfall is forecast, particularly over the affected region on Java island, as well as Borneo and Sulawesi islands.
