On 21 April, floods hit several parts of Lampung Province (southern Sumatra), resulting in casualties and damage.
According to the National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure (BNPB), three people died in North Panjang Village (Panjang District), and nearly 2,400 families have been affected in Bandar Lampung City. Moreover, several villages reported widespread damage, including 74 flooded houses in Pugung District.
Over the next 72 hours, light to locally moderate rain and thunderstorms are forecast across the affected province.
