  • 9 people have died following the widespread floods and landslides in Jakarta and neighbouring provinces (4 in Bekasi, 3 in Jakarta and 2 in South Tangerang).
  • According to the Indonesian National Board for Disaster Management (BNPB), as of 27 February, more than 80,000 people have been displaced and more than 85,000 affected in the Jakarta area and West Java.
  • Search and rescue activities are being conducted by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).
  • Moderate to heavy rain is forecast over most of Jakarta and surrounding provinces.
