Indonesia - Floods (ADINet, BMKG) (ECHO Daily Flash of 22 April 2025)

  • Over the past few days, parts of Kalimantan and Java have been affected by floods caused by heavy rainfall, resulting in significant damage.

  • According to the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet), more than 1,000 people have been affected and 339 houses flooded in Tamansari Village (Banten Province, western Java). In Bukit Subur Village (East Kalimantan Province), over 450 people have been affected and 141 houses damaged, also due to flooding.

  • On 22–23 April, light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms is expected across the affected provinces.
