The number of casulaties continues to rise in Sentani District (Jayapura Regency, Papua Province) following flash floods and landslides. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB), as of 20 March, 104 people were reported dead, 79 missing, 9 692 displaced across 18 evacuation centres and 160 injured. Eight schools, 485 buildings, several roads and bridges have been damaged.
