The impact due to the 5.7 magnitude earthquake that occurred on 22 May at 19.52 UTC (23 May at 2.52 local time) in the Bengkulu province in southern Sumatra island (western Indonesia) has increased.
According to the National Agency for Disaster Countermeasure (BNPB), as of 26 May, a total of 792 people have been affected and 206 buildings have been damaged across the Bengkulu city area, in central Bengkulu province.
