Landslide is the most frequently occurring natural disaster in October – December 2014, with 188 events, which took at least 171 lives. Landslide in Banjarnegara District of Central Java on 12 December claimed 97 lives, 11 others missing, 14 persons injured and at least 1,397 persons displaced.

Floods in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam in November and December caused at least 120,966 people (20,570 households) temporarily displaced in seven districts and municipalities. Mt. Sinabung's effusive eruptions and high volcanic activity maintains displacement level at 2,443 persons or 795 families in seven evacuation shelters.
