INDONESIA

Earthquake

A strong 6.5 M earthquake with epicenter in Pidie Jaya occurred in the province of Aceh. 103 people died and 780 others were injured. 86,417 persons were displaced. Infrastructure damages incurred include 9,157 houses, 358 shop houses, 104 mosques, 17 school facilities and bridges.

MALAYSIA

Flood

A heavy downpour brought about a flashflood that caused flooding in several villages in Padang Rengas and Parit in Ipoh City. The incident prompted the evacuation of approximately 119 individuals from about 24 families to two temporary relief centres that were opened.

THAILAND

Flood

High continuous rainfall caused three reservoirs to overflow and inundate the city's downtown area. The incident forced the Bang Saphan Hospital to evacuate more than 100

VIET NAM

Flood

Consecutive days of heavy rains caused flooding in the central provinces from Quang Ngai to Ninh Thuan. 19 people have died and two more missing. Around 4,000 people are affected.
