Yesterday’s cyclonic storm (CS) “Gaja” over westcentral and adjoining eastcentral & southeast Bay of Bengal (BoB) followed an anticlockwise looping track during past 24 hours and lay centred at 0830 hrs IST of today, the 13th November, 2018 over westcentral and adjoining eastcentral & south BoB near latitude 13.3°N and longitude 87.1°E, about 740 km east-northeast of Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and 830 km east-northeast of Nagappattinam (Tamil Nadu). It is likely to move westsouthwestwards and intensify further into a severe cyclonic storm during next 24 hours. While moving west-southwestwards further, it is likely to weaken gradually on 15th November and cross Tamil Nadu coast between Pamban and Cuddalore as a Cyclonic Storm during 15th November afternoon.
