RAINFALL/FLOOD SITUATION IN THE COUNTRY
Rainfall occurred at many places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Mizoram and at one or two places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gangetic West Bengal, rest northeastern States, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Odisha, rest Andhra Pradesh and TAmilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (2 cm and above) recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were: Betul-5 and Tirupathi, Chennai and Shillong-2 each.

• Rain/thundershowers would occur at many places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
• Rain/thundershowers would occur at a few places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
• Rain/thundershowers would occur at one or two places over Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, Marathwada, Madhya Mahrashtra and Konakan &Goa.
• Weather would be mainly dry over rest of the country.
