2. Withdrawn of Southwest monsoon: -

Conditions are becoming favourable for the further withdrawal of southwest monsoon from some more parts of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh during next 2-3 days.

The line of withdrawal of southwest monsoon continues to pass through Firozpur, Sirsa, Churu, Ajmer, Mount Abu, Deesa, Surendranagar and Junagarh.

The trough from Comorin area to south coastal Karnataka extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level persists.

The trough from north Konkan to southeast Uttar Pradesh across Madhya Pradesh
between 1.5 & 3.1km above mean sea level persists.[...]
6. Flood Situation in Bihar:-
As per the report received from SEOC, the state is facing flood situation due to heavy to very heavy rainfall from 26.09.2024 to 28.09.2024 in Nepal and discharge of excessive/ unprecedented water (around 6 lakhs cusec) from Birpur and Valmiki Nagar barrage in river Kosi, Gandak and Bagmati on 28.09.2024. A total of 16 districts have been reported affected so far in the State. The detailed report is attached as Annexure-I.
7. Flood Situation in Uttar Pradesh: -
Background: -
- As per the report received from the SEOC, the State is facing flood situation due to heavy to very heavy rainfall in some districts of State, extremely heavy rainfall in Nepal and rise of water level in Gandak, Rapti, BurhiRapti, Kwano, Rohin and Ghaghra rivers. A total of 10 districts are reported affected by flood i.e Ballia, Gonda, Hardoi, Kanpur Nagar, Lakhimpur Kheri, Kushinagar, Shahjhapur, Sitapur and Fatehpur out of which 04 districts are affected due to discharge of water from Gandak Barrage (Valmiki Nagar Barrage).
