3. Flood Situation in different States:

Uttar Pradesh:

  • Due to continuous heavy rainfall and rise of water level in rivers Ganga, Yamuna, Sharda, Hindon, Saryu and Ghagra flood like situation created in 14 Districts (Bijnor, Farrukhabad, Firozabad, Gautam Budha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Sharanpur, Shahjahanpur, Kasganj, Kheri, Unnao and Shamli). Total 245 villages are affected in the State.

  • Total 19,751 people have been affected during last 24 hrs and 2171 people have been shifted in relief camps. NDRF, SDRF and PAC are deployed for rescue and relief operation.

  • Today NIL reports received from 07 States/UTs: Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Odisha, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Andaman & Nicobar and Delhi.

  • Today reports not received from 19 States/UTs: Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu, Sikkim, Telangana, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Lakshadweep, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman Diu and Puducherry.
