3. Flood Situation in different States:

Telangana:

  • As per SEOC, due to incessant and extremely heavy rainfall i.e. 652 mm recorded on 27.07.2023 in district Jayshankar Bhupalpally, flood like situation is prevailing in 06 districts (Jayshankar Bhupalpally, Bhadradri Kothaguden, Mulugu, Nirmal and Mancherial).
    Many villages have been inundated and peoples have been marooned in their houses. In last 24 hrs 10-27 cm (100-270 mm) rainfall has been recorded in affected districts.

  • Approx 1500 persons were stranded on the roof tops / trees in the village Moranchapally of Jaishankar Bhupalapally District. All stranded persons have been rescued/evacuated safely and shifted in relief camps.

  • 10 teams are deployed along with rescue boats and other necessary equipments for rescue operation.

  • 02 IAF Chetak Helicopters rescued 06 stranded persons from village Moranchapally in Jaishankar bhupalapally district on 27.07.2023.

Uttar Pradesh:

  • Due to continuous heavy rainfall and rise of water level in rivers Ganga, Yamuna, Sharda, Hindon, Saryu and Ghagra flood like situation created in 14 Districts (Bijnor, Farrukhabad, Firozabad, Gautam Budha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Sharanpur, Shahjahanpur, Kasganj, Kheri, Unnao and Shamli). Total 252 villages are affected in the State.

  • Total 20,817 people have been affected during last 24 hrs and 5323 people have been shifted in relief camps. NDRF, SDRF and PAC are deployed for rescue and relief operation.

Today NIL reports received from 08 States/UTs: Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Tripura, Andaman & Nicobar and Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman Diu

Today reports not received from 11 States/UTs: Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Lakshadweep, Ladakh and Puducherry.
