3. Flood Situation in different States:

Telangana:

  • As per telephonically information received form SEOC Telangana, due to incessant and extremely heavy rainfall (652 mm recorded during 24 hrs in district Jayshankar Bhupalpally), flood like situation is created in 06 district (Jayshankar Bhupalpally, Bhadradri Kothaguden, Mulugu, Nirmal and Mancherial). Many villages have been inundated and peoples have been marooned in their houses. 652 mm rainfall recorded in 24 hrs in district Jayshankar Bhupalpally.

  • In a more serious incident, approx 1500 persons were stranded on the roof tops / trees in the village Moranchapally of Jaishankar Bhupalapally District. All stranded persons have been rescued/evacuated safely and shifted in relief camp.25 houses got damaged, 03 persons are still missing and some animals washed away.

  • Search and rescue operation is still underway by NDRF, Air Force, Police, Fire and local Administration.

  • Today 04 additional teams of NDRF mobilized for rescue and relief in affected areas. 02 teams deployed and 02 teams are enroute.

  • 02 IAF Chetak Helicopters recued 06 Stranded persons from Moranchapally Village District Jaishankar Bhupalapally.

  • Total 04 sorties carried out by IAF Helicopters.

Himachal Pradesh:

  • Today at around 0300 hrs,a Cloud Burst incident occurred near Village Machetar Patwar Circle Chanhauta,Tehsil-Chamba, District- Chamba, In this incident 01 Loader Machine, 01 JCB, 01 Ambulance and 02 Containers washed away. No loss of life/injury reported so far.

Uttar Pradesh:

  • Due to continuous heavy rainfall and rise of water level in rivers Ganga, Yamuna, Sharda, Hindon, Saryu and Ghagra flood like situation created in 14 Districts (Bijnor, Farrukhabad, Firozabad, Gautam Budha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Sharanpur, Shahjahanpur, Kasganj, Kheri, Unnao and Shamli). Total 246 villages are affected in the State.

  • Total 21367 people have been affected during last 24 hrs and 4814 people have been shifted in relief camps. NDRF, SDRF and PAC are deployed for rescue and relief operation.

Today NIL reports received from 05 States/UTs: Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Tripura, Andaman & Nicobar, and Puducherry.

Today reports not received from 15 States/UTs: Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala, Manipur, Mizoram, Punjab, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Lakshadweep, Ladakh and Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman Diu.
