Flood Situation in different States:

Maharashtra :

  • On 19.07.2023 at around 2300 hrs, an incident of Major Landslide occurred in village Irasal wadi, Tehsil-Khalapur, district- Raigad in Maharashtra.

  • As per final report received from SEOC Maharashtra 143 persons rescued/traced alive, 27 persons have died and 04 persons are admitted in hospital. Search and rescue operation called off.

  • Due to heavy rainfall and rise of water level in rivers flood like situation created in 03 Districts ( Nanded, Yavatmal City and Buldhana) and 10 villages are affected in the state.

  • NDRF and SDRF have been deployed for rescue and relief operation.

Gujarat

  • Due to extremely heavy rainfall on 22/07/2023 flood like situation was created in Junagadh and Navsari Districts.Total 1209 mm rainfall was recorded on 24 hrs in Junagadh District and 320 mm rainfall recorded in Navsari District.

  • As per report received from SEOC Gujarat, today at around 1310 hrs, a two storey building collapsed near Datar road petrol pump, Kadiyavad naka in District Junagadh. Approx 04 persons are feared to be trapped under the debris.

  • Search and rescue operation is going on by NDRF and SDRF. DM and SP are present at incident site and monitoring the rescue operation.

Uttar Pradesh :

  • Due to continuous heavy rainfall and rise of water level in rivers Ganga, Yamuna, Sharda, Hindon and Ghagra flood like situation created in 12 Districts (Aligarh, Bijnor, Badaun, Farrukhabad, Firozabad, Ghaziabad, Mathura, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Sharanpur, Shahjahanpur and Shamli) and total 339 villages are affected in the State.

  • Total 84805 people have been affected during last 24 hrs and 2429 people are shifted in relief camps. NDRF, SDRF and PAC are deployed for rescue and relief operation.

Today NIL reports received from 07 States/UTs:- Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttarakhand, Andaman & Nicobar and Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman Diu.

Today reports not received from 18 States/UTs:- Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Kerala, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Lakshadweep, Ladakh, Puducherry and Jammu & Kashmir.
