Flood Situation in different States:
Maharashtra :

As per report received from SEOC, Maharashtra, on 19.07.2023 at 2300 hrs (approx) an incident of Major Landslide occurred in village Irasal wadi, Tehsil-Khalapur, districtRaigad in Maharashtra.

The village has reportedly 48 families with a population of 228 people.
-
98 out of the total population of 228 people are reportedly safe and were not affected by the landslide.

27 persons have died and 08 people have been reportedly injured who are being treated at the base camp set up at the foothills near the village and some are being treated at MGM hospital in Navi Mumbai.

Due to continuous heavy rainfall and rise of water level in rivers Savitri, Ulhas, Godavari, Purna,Wardha, Dahiasar, Mithi, Penganga andPranhito flood like situation created in 08 Districts (Raigad, Gadchiroli, Ratnagiri, Nanded, Thane, Mumbai,Yavatmal City and Buldhana) in the state.

4 teams of NDRF along with Sniffer dogs and necessary rescue equipments are conducting search and rescue operation.

Due to extremely heavy rainfall on 22/07/2023 flood like situation was created in Junagadh and Navsari Districts. Total 1209 mm rainfall recorded on 24 hrs in Junagadh District and 320 mm rainfall recorded in Navsari District.

Total 991 persons were rescued/evacuated and shifted to safer places/relief camps and 20,000 people affected so far.

Total 11 dewatering pumps are available in district, which are currently utilised in waterlogged area, societies in District Junagadh. Electricity power supply is restored in almost all areas of Junagadh city.

Rescue and relief operation carried out by NDRF, SDRF, Fire services, Aapda Mitras and Local Administration.
Today NIL reports received from 03States/UTs:- Meghalaya, Andaman & Nicobar and Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman Diu.
Today reports not received from 19States/UTs:- Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa,Jharkhand, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal, Chandigarh,Delhi,Lakshadweep,Ladakh and Puducherry.
