Deployment of Armed Forces:- Delhi

  • Army

    • 02 Column of 8 Engineer Regiment. deployed at ITO Delhi, and WHO Building.

    • Stand By - 06 Column standby.

  • Indian Air Force:

  • 02 Helicopters standby at Palam.

Himachal Pradesh :-

  • 01 x Mi-17V5 deployed at Shimla, Bhuntar and Sarsawa for civil evacuation.

Deployment of NDRF

As per NDRF report dated 17/07/2023:

Delhi:

  • Today 09 teams of NDRF derequisitioned by administration and 08 teams are deployed along with rescue boats and other necessary equipment for rescue and relief operation in Delhi.

  • NDRF has detailed 02 officers as Nodal Officers for supervision of NDRF deployment in connection with Flood situation in Delhi and to co-ordinate with concerned DMs and other functionaries:

  • NDRF rescued 1606 persons, evacuated 7241 persons and 956 livestock.

Himachal Pradesh:

  • 13 Teams of NDRF along with rescue boats and other necessary equipments have been deployed for rescue operation.

  • NDRF rescued 43 persons and evacuated 5094 persons.

Haryana:

  • 10 Teams of NDRF along with rescue boats and other necessary equipments have been deployed for rescue operation.

  • NDRF rescued 662 persons and evacuated 1675 persons and 33 livestock.

Punjab:

  • 05 Teams of NDRF along with rescue boats and other necessary equipments have been deployed for rescue operation.

  • NDRF rescued 283 persons and evacuated 3949 persons and 199 livestock.

Uttarakhand :-

  • 11 Teams of NDRF along with rescue boats and other necessary equipments have been deployed for rescue operation.

  • NDRF rescued 01 person and evacuated 591 persons and 39 livestock.

Uttar Pradesh :- - 14 Teams of NDRF along with rescue boats and other necessary equipments have been deployed for rescue operation.

  • NDRF rescued 13 persons and evacuated 1627 persons and 777 livestock.

  2. Deployment of NDRF: - Total 168 Teams of NDRF have been prepositioned/ deployed across the country. State/UTs wise deployment is attached as Annexure- II.
