3. Uttar Pradesh Boat capsized incident : As per report received from SEOC Uttar Pradesh, On 31.08.2022, a boat carrying approx 17 persons capsized in river Ganga near Village– Atthatt, Tehsil- Sevrai, District Ghazipur. In this incident, 10 persons rescued safely and 07 dead bodies recovered. Search and rescue operation called off.

5. Deployment of NDRF:- Total 139 Teams of NDRF have been prepositioned /deployed across the country. State/UT wise deployment is at Annexure- II.
Today NIL reports received from 11 States/UTs:- Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Andaman & Nicobar and Dadra Nagar Haveli & Daman Diu.
Today reports not received from 18 States/UTs:- Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana, Karnataka, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Lakshadweep, Puducherry, Ladakh and J&K.
