1 . Brief about flood situation/ damage report during last 24 hours is as under.

  • State wise details is at Annexure – I

2 . Total 131 Teams of NDRF have been deployed across the country. State wise deployment is at -Annexure-II.

3 . Forecast:

a. India Meteorological Department (IMD)

b. Significant Weather Features:

  • A low pressure Area is likely to form over North Bay of Bengal by tomorrow, the 04th august 2020.

  • As a result, the monsoon trough which is presently in the near normal position is likely to become active during next 3-4 days.

  • The lower level southwesterly/westerly winds have strengthened over the Arabian Sea and over southern parts of Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea.

  • Under the above favourable scenario, Monsoon will enter to active phase over the Central and Peninsular India from 4 th August onwards for subsequent 3-4 days.

c. CENTRAL WATER COMMISSION (CWC):

  • Red Warning:- (Extreme Flood Situation)

  • Orange Warning (Severe Flood Situation)
