Humanitarian Roster Training
Humanitarian Aid International, in the capacity of the LOCAL Country Secretariat, convened the first-ever LOCAL Humanitarian Roster Training Programme from 3rd April to 5th April 2024 in Ranchi, Jharkhand with the participation of over 40 roster members from local, national and regional organisations.
The training entailed an intensive course of practical and theoretical sessions led by industry experts from across the globe, who shared their knowledge and experience with the participant cohort of roster members.
The objectives of the LOCAL Humanitarian Roster Training Programme were;

To Initiate Humanitarian professionals from LOCAL member organisations, partner NGOs,
Civil Society Organisations and donors into the Humanitarian Roster and familiarise them with the operational parameters of the programme.
To familiarise participants with the humanitarian response architectures, principles and challenges faced throughout the response cycle tailored to the specific needs of the affected communities and their requirements.
