RAINFALL/FLOOD SITUATION IN THE COUNTRY
ASSAM
- Light to moderate rainfall has been reported in some parts of the State during last 24 hours.
- No human death has been reported in the State during last 24 hours.
- 155 cattle/livestock have been perished.
- About 2.08 lakh population and 234 villages in 08 districts are reported to have been affected in the State due to flood so far.
- 06 relief camps have also been opened in the affected areas.
KERALA
- Light to moderate rainfall has been reported in some parts of the State during last 24 hours.
- No human death has been reported in the State during last 24 hours.
- 09 cattle/livestock have been perished.
- About 26456 people are reported to have been affected.
- 1523.64 ha cropped area have been affected.
- 4696 houses have been damaged.
KARNATAKA
- Light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall has been reported in some parts of State during last 24 hours.
- No human death has been reported in the State during last 24 hours.
- 852 cattle/livestock have been perished.
- 2289 houses have been damaged.
- In 06 relief camps about 290 people are staying.
- 09 boats have been deployed for rescue and relief operations.
INDIA METEOROLOGICAL DEPARTMENT
- Under the influence of an upper air cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan and neighbourhood extending upto mid-tropospheric level, widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely over Gujarat and south Rajasthan during next 48 hours.
- Fairly widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely along the west coast during next 2-3 days.
- Under the influence of an upper air cyclonic circulation over Jharkhand and neighbourhood extending upto mid-tropospheric level, widespread rainfall with isolated heavy falls is likely over Orissa, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh during next 48 hours.
