Heavy rainfall has been affecting New Delhi in northern India, since 27 June, causing severe weather-related incidents that have resulted in casualties and damage.
As of 28 June, media report one fatality, and six injured people due to a severe weather-related incident in the Delhi airport, one damaged structure has been reported and domestic flights have been temporarily suspended.
Rescue operations are still ongoing.
Over the next 48 hours, heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are still forecast over northern and western India.
