A massive landslide triggered by heavy rainfall has impacted an area close to Janki Chatti village in Uttarakhand state, causing casualties.
According to the National Disaster Management Authority of India and media, two people died, two others are missing and another has been rescued and injured.
Rescue operations are still ongoing over the affected area.
On 25-26 June, heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are expected across Uttarakhand where orange warnings are in effect.
