Requirement projected by the states has been assessed and supported accordingly by the Government of India.

Support has been provided for immediate relief, coordinated and monitored by National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA)
16. Action taken by UN agencies, excluding WHO
UNICEF:100,000 ORS packets, 50,000 IV fluids, 100 liters of skin lotion, 25 kgs of bleaching powder, 3000 buckets and 1000 tarpaulin sheets.
UNICEF is in the process of procuring health related items for Gujarat.
UNDP-UNV is assisting the local government in organizing coordination meeting among stakeholders.
17. Action taken by WHO
250 Chloroscopes for water testing have been procured and provided to the districts by WHO.
WHO India office has provided Rs. 700,000 to the Government of Gujarat for the procurement of insecticide-treated bed nets and emergency drugs for control of communicable diseases in the flood affected area.
18. Assistance required from SEARO
Request has been submitted to the Regional Office for support to the center operational room at the Ministry of Health.
