Etihad Airways distributes blankets and food among underprivileged children in India

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has organised a substantial blanket distribution drive to help underprivileged children survive the harsh winter season in New Delhi.

This initiative, which is the first conducted by the airline in India, was organised in association with Monyati Initiatives, an India-based non-profit social development organisation, along with Ammucare Charitable Trust.

Blankets and warm food parcels were distributed to three shelters housing orphans and abandoned street children, as well as to farmers and their families, day labourers and the city's destitute street people.
