Damage Assessment:

Assam

  • 364,046 individuals from 764 villages in 19 districts have been affected by floods, with 10 reported dead, and approximately 3.52 hectares of cropland damaged. Cachar remains the worst-affected district with 103,790 people affected, followed by Sribhumi with 83,621 and Nagaon with 62,700 people affected.
  • The Government Administration has set up 52 relief camps, housing 10,272 inmates. 103 relief distribution centres are currently operational.

Manipur

  • 19,811 individuals from 8 districts in 174 villages and localities have been affected by 47 landslides, with 3365 houses damaged, 64 livestock lost, and 11.8 hectares of croplands destroyed.
  • So far, 1,599 affected individuals have been evacuated to safety. The State Administration has set up 32 relief camps, housing over 2,831 people.

Mizoram

  • 190 localities in 11 districts have been affected by 552 landslides. 152 houses have collapsed, 69 have been vacated due to landslides/ mudslides, and highways are blocked at 83 locations across the state.
