In August, violence in Hai persisted, with a acks in Kenscoff directly targe ng civilians and a humanitarian NGO, while gangs con nued expanding their reach into provincial areas and commi ng widespread abuses.
Gang control over key transporta on routes paralyzed transporta on, leaving many communi es without access to essen al goods and services. The ongoing cyclone season further endangers displaced families living in precarious shelters. Meanwhile, Hai con nues to experience the lowest level of humanitarian funding globally.
Despite these challenges, IOM and its partners, with donor support, provided assistance to more than 100,000 people and con nued to expand its opera ons in Hinche and Ar bonite to respond to the displacement situa on.
