HUMANITARIAN SITUATION

An estimated 2.8 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in Haiti in 2018. The key humanitarian issues in Haiti are the unmet needs of people affected by Hurricane Matthew in October 2016, food insecurity, cholera epidemic and the Haitian-Dominican migration issue. The resulting diverse humanitarian needs are geographically spread across the entire country with varying levels of severity.
