A WORSENING SITUATION...
Violence broke out on 29 February in Port-au-Prince, leading to attacks on schools, hospitals and other civilian infrastructures and affecting access to basic social services.
..WITH MULTIPLE CONSEQUENCES
15,000 people were displaced, including many who were already displaced. More than 362,000 people are currently displaced across the country with some 160,000 displaced people in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area.
