The food security situation remains a concern for the population :
- 65% of households do not have sufficient food consumption to meet their needs for macroand micro-nutrients, with the communes of Cité Soleil, Croix des Bouquets and Carrefour most affected in May.
- At least 4 out of 5 households have adopted negative coping strategies due to a lack of food.
- A significant and continuous drop in household income in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area : 61% of households have experienced a decline in their main source of income, including 46% with a decrease of more than 50%.
