According to DPC, 61,537 people are living in shelters, among them 35,000 in the South Department.
The Minister of National Education and Vocational Training estimates that 300 schools have been damaged throughout the country
WFP assessment team located in the South department reported 95% loss of shelter (home, churches, schools) and harvest in coastal area.
