Attachments

This information was collected following displacements caused by armed attacks that occurred on 13 April 2026, in the locality of Kajak, located on the border of the municipalities of Marigot (Southeast department) and Kenscoff (West department), as well as in Seguin, within the 1st section of Fond Jean Noël, in the municipality of Marigot.

These attacks led to the displacement of approximately 1,341 people (288 households). All displaced individuals took refuge with host families. The majority of them (78%) settled in the municipality of Belle-Anse, located in the Southeast Department. It is worth noting that this is the first time that DTM has observed significant displacement linked to attacks in the Southeast department, as this area has typically been a host region for displaced people who fled the West Department.

DTM continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as new developments arise.
