Haiti - Emergency Tracking Tool 66.1 - Updates on displacement following armed attacks in areas bordering the municipalities of Mirebalais and Lascahobas (Centre Department) (3 - 9 July 2025)

This report is an update on the one published on 4 July (ETT 66) following population displacements caused by armed attacks that occurred since 3 July 2025 in the 2nd communal section of Sarazin located in the municipality of Mirebalais (Centre department). Approximately 27,491 people (6,701 households) were forced to flee their residences in the attacked area as well as in the neighboring municipality of Lascahobas, largely to other municipalities in the same department of Centre, mainly to Belladère (51%). In addition, 17% headed to the neighboring municipality of Cornillon Grand Bois located in the West department. The majority of displaced people (91%) found refuge with host families, while 9% settled in 25 spontaneous sites including 23 newly created following these incidents and 2 pre-existing sites.
