This report is an update of the one published on 24 June (ETT 65) following armed attacks in the municipality of La Chapelle, in the Artibonite department, more precisely in the 2nd Bossous section. A total of 9,371 people (2,386 households) have been displaced mainly towards other locations in the Artibonite department, including about half in the same municipality of La Chapelle, 22% to the municipaity of Verrettes and 19% to Petite Rivière. The majority of displaced persons (94%) have sought refuge with host families, while 4% have settled in seven displacement sites, including six newly established sites following these incidents and one pre-existing site. DTM continues to monitor the situation and will provide updates as new displacement data becomes available.
