• More than 5.4 million people across Haiti are expected to face Crisis—IPC 3—or worse levels of acute food insecurity between August 2024 and February 2025.

• As of early September, nearly 703,000 people were internally displaced across Haiti, primarily due to escalating OCG attacks. The majority of IDPs have sought refuge with host families, according to IOM.

• OCG violence continues to expose children across Haiti to significant protection risks including adverse effects on mental health, forced recruitment, and sexual violence, the UN reports.
